Hi, I'm Riya! I'm someone who loves learning new things, exploring new places, and trying things I've never done before.

I enjoy reading books and novels, travelling, and discovering places that are a little off the beaten path. I'm also a public speaking enthusiast who enjoys expressing my thoughts, sharing my perspective, and engaging in meaningful conversations.

Trainee Engineer

Smart AnalyticaPune, India

  • Worked on Smart Portal, an open-source data platform that lets teams build, run and monitor ETL pipelines from a single web interface. Owned the Data Ingestion and Data Pipeline modules end-to-end, from the React UI to the FastAPI backend.
  • Worked with a range of data engineering tools, including Airbyte, Airflow, Spark, Iceberg, Trino and OpenMetadata.
  • Optimised the Airflow DAGs and the stage-wise logs shown in the UI for running pipelines.
